One World in One Lifetime

Ninoy Aquino International Airport

As it is known in Filipino: Paliparang Pandaigdig ng Ninoy Aquino

Airport website

Is Ninoy Aquino the only airport for Manila?

No. The other one is Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) in Angeles City.

Is Ninoy Aquino in Manila?

No. It’s 7km south of Manila.

How can I get to and from the Ninoy Aquino airport to Manila?

You can take a taxi, jeepney, a bus, or in the future, the Light Rail Transit system.

Is pre-check in sleeping allowed?

If you have to, then you have to. But you’re better off staying some place else.

How about post check-in sleeping?

uhmm… You can do it, but you will not like it. This is a horrible airport.

Can I take a shower there?

How is the food?

Eat before you get here. The food is overpriced and unappetizing. They also tend to run out of stuff and the shops close early.

Is there free wireless internet or any pay internet computers?

There is free wireless internet but it doesn’t work very well. The best place to be is near the Mabuhay lounge which is after passport control.

There are also free internet computer, but they are painfully slow. And since there is nothing else to do, this is where everyone crowds around.

Are there lockers or at least a left luggage place?

Can I rent a cell phone at the airport?

Are there any post offices at the airport?

What is the phone number or website for lost and found?

I don’t know if there is one, but here is the number for general information.

Tel: 833-1180

Is there anything special about this airport?

You have to pay 750PP or the equivalent in dollars to enter the airport.

This is the worst airport I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to O’Hare! The next time I go to the Philippians, I’ll take a boat so I would not have to set foot in this airport again.

I’m sorry, but this is just a travel blog. I do not work in or near the Manila airport. In fact, I live in a completely different country all together. I’m sorry that you lost your stuff, but I’m just a blogger and I have no real powers or contacts. You should try looking at the airport’s website and emailing someone there.
